Matt: I think everyone’s story starts pretty much the same: boy meets girl, girl pretends she isn’t even remotely interested in boy, then she subsequently stalks him on social media. Hahahah.
Emily: I wanted to see what his interests and hobbies were before letting him know that I was interested in him. Clearly he’s the cutest thang ever, but is there more to him than that? Well the answer was YES so I let him know that I stalked him on Instagram by giving him a follow. But back to before that, Matt can start the story.
Matt: No, In all honesty Emily and I were very lucky. I happened to be out to dinner with a friend (Carl). I think Emily got dragged out that night by her girlfriends.
Emily: I was out with my girlfriends Ashley, Armina and Christina for a fun girls night. I’m more of a home body so me being out at a night club in Seattle was a rare occasion.
Matt: I just happened to see her walk by Carl and I while we were in the club. I immediately asked my other buddy Amir ,who is a mutual friend of ours, who she was. He called Emily over and introduced us. She walked away immediately but, I made a good impression.
Emily: Good enough for me to search for him on Instagram 😜
Matt: A few months and a country music festival later, I am also creeping on her social media asking for her number so I can take her out.
Then we went on our last first date August 12th 2019. That’s how our happy ever after began.
